The Registrar is the principal administrative officer of Gurucharan University, responsible for the overall administration and coordination of academic and administrative activities. Acting as the custodian of all university records and official documents, the Registrar plays a crucial role in maintaining institutional integrity and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The office coordinates between various stakeholders including students, faculty, administrative staff, and regulatory bodies.
Coordinate academic programs, course scheduling, and examination management
Maintain comprehensive student records, transcripts, and academic documents
Organize meetings of statutory bodies and maintain official minutes
Oversee student admission processes and enrollment management
Coordinate examination schedules, result processing, and certificate issuance
Handle all official communications and maintain university correspondence
Serve as the custodian of university records, seal, and official documents
Coordinate the conduct of examinations and publication of results
Issue certificates, diplomas, and degrees as authorized by the university
Manage student admissions, enrollments, and withdrawals
Organize and coordinate meetings of the Executive Council and Academic Council
Maintain records of university employees and their service details
Handle Right to Information (RTI) applications and public grievances
Ensure compliance with UGC regulations and state government directives
Coordinate with affiliated colleges and institutions
Manage official correspondence and communications on behalf of the university
